An EU Health Pass or Vaccine Passport is a physical or paper-based health credential or record with banknote-grade anti-copy security features. It was developed as a secure paper-based alternative for people who do not have smartphones. Its design is incorporated with various levels of security – overt, covert, and forensic security features. It aims to provide individuals or travelers with a secure physical record of their full testing and vaccination history. This lets travelers share their vaccination status and COVID-19 test results with airlines or border authorities.
The MatriX-iPass™ App is a Digital EU Health Pass for individuals who would undergo testing and for those who want to validate the tests taken. The MatriX-iPass™ App is used by:
  • Citizens or individuals who register for tests or vaccination
  • Laboratories to manage testing of customers, record test results, provide printed or green digital certificate to customers, and report to the government
  • Inspectors to validate current test/vaccination status (app-to-app or app-to-health pass) with additional permissions for analysis
The MatriX-iPass™ Platform is a web application used by laboratories or organizations managing testing and vaccination. MatriX-iPass™ Platform (Web App) is for patient test record and vaccination management, and reporting. It is also used for EU Health Pass and Stamp Kit track & trace and inventory management. The platform has the following features:
  • Keeps customer/patient records
  • Add vaccination/test data to the customer record
  • Issue Health Pass (test/EU vaccine certificate or passport)
  • Use API to exchange data with authorities (e.g., government agency or IATA)

These are stamping devices which have advanced anti-copy ink and uniquely numbered stamps to protect the digital covid certificate or health pass from getting forged.
Yes. Using API, MatriX-iPass™ can be integrated with other applications or systems like Contact Tracing apps or other EU health pass schemes like IATA Travel Pass.
An encrypted link containing some basic personal information and test or vaccination result data.
The information is updated in the MatriX-iPass™ App whenever an individual schedules and completes a new test result or uploads a new test result or vaccination record. The information is also updated in the MatriX-iPass™ App whenever lab personnel (admin or those with appropriate access) make changes or updates to the individual’s profile or make changes to existing results on the MatriX-iPass™ platform (Web App). The paper-based EU Health Pass are also updated using the Stamping Kit when they are chopped with a secured ink and a chop which comes with a unique ID (so that the system will know which person/agency has applied the chop).
Health credentials or information are verified or authenticated by scanning the proprietary QR code on the physical EU Health Pass or MatriX-iPass™ App. The inspection app will then verify the encrypted code, and even offline inspection is possible. The physical or paper-based Health Passes are also chopped with a secured ink and a chop that comes with a unique ID (so that the system will know which person has applied the chop). The physical or paper-based EU Health Pass / green digital certificate can also be verified or authenticated by inspectors with offline inspection options (QR code, UV light, detector, forensic security features, etc.)
The modules in the MatriX-iPass™ system include testing management and vaccination management. The MatriX-iPass™ system is a complete solution to manage and verify communicable disease test results and immunization status using a secure printed EU health pass, anti-copy stamps, blockchain secured apps, and a wide range of inspection tools.
The system workflow is as follows:
  1. Registration: Users register with their national ID/Passport using the MatriX-iPass™ App or at a partner lab or testing center.
  2. Testing: After the lab completes the testing/vaccination and uploads the result, the User will receive a physical EU Health Pass. It comes with a printed QR code and/or a secure digital record with a digital QR code which is created on their MatriX-iPass™ app to serve as a digital covid certificate.
  3. Secure Data: Paper-based EU Health Pass will be chopped with secured ink, and the chop will come with a unique ID (so that the system knows which person/agency has applied for the cop). The individual’s digital record is encrypted and secured by Blockchain.
  4. Verification & Inspection: Once test/vaccination results are published, Users can show their EU Health Pass or MatriX-iPass™ App for scanning. Encrypted code will be verified by the Inspector’s MatriX-iPass™ App (even offline inspection is possible). Inspectors also have multiple offline inspection options for physical EU Health Pass (QR code, UV light, detector, forensic security feature, etc.).
  5. Reporting: Detailed reporting to project owners or government entities can also be made within MatriX-iPass™.
